THREE GUYS THAT WILL BE FLYING TO CHICAGO TO HURT THE CUBS FOR THE NUT SHOT THAT THEY GAVE TO THER FANS THIS WEEKEND!!! 

Terminator is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows on television. I picked up the Blu Ray of Season 1 a few weeks ago and was blown away by the quality of show. I was eagerly awaiting the 2nd season premiere and was not let down. The openening scene is a wonderful start in which Cameron (Summer Glau) awakes following the explosion at the end of season 1. Unfortuantly, her chip is damaged from a piece of shrapnel lodged in her skull. We don’t discover exactly what’s damaged until she encounters Sarah (Lena Headey) and John Conner (Thomas Decker) inside the house (which is now on fire) next to a dead body. Cameron targets John and points a gun at him, attempting to terminate him. Apparently, her chip is damaged inso that her mission has reverted to terminate, rather than protect, John. Well shit.
Most of the main plot of the episode focuses on Sarah and John fleeing from Cameron and attempting to fix her. After a failed attempt to open her head up to reach her chip we see how sadistic an evil Cameron can be. Cameron tortures Sarah in order to force John out of hiding. Keep in mind, Cameron is still in control of herself, and she has all of her memories. She just thinks her mission is to kill John, not save him.
John eventually lures Cameron into a garage, and then Sarah rams her with a truck, pinning her between two engines. John seizes the opportunity and begins opening Cameron’s head in order to remove her chip. This is one of the most suprising and entertaining scenes I’ve seen in a tv show lately. Cameron begins to plead with John to not remove her chip. “John, no, please! I don’t want to go! I’m good now! I’m sorry. ” The whole time Sarah is screaming at John who is now unsure of what to do. Terminators don’t have the ability to feign emotions like that…or do they? It’s almost heartbreaking. Summer Glau’s performance here is just spectacular. Then comes the bombshell… Cameron pleads further, “I’m sorry for what I did. Please, listen to me, I don’t want to go! Everything is perfect! I love you, please! I love you! I love you John, and you love me!” I did not see that coming. So this begs the question…what transpired between future John and Cameron? Does Cameron feel emotions now? Was she just lying?
John gets the chip out and they decide to burn her body to destroy her. John tinkers with the chip in the meantime to try and fix it. Going against his mother, he reactivates Cameron. He hands her and gun and asks her to promise not to kill him. From Cameron’s POV we see her screen go from “TERMINATE” to “Termination Override”. We don’t yet know if this is from John’s tinkering or Cameron overriding her mission on her own.
Oh, and besides all of this, Shirley Manson of Garbage joins the cast as a Cyberdine executive. At the stunning conclusion of the show, she is revealed as a T-1000 Terminator…the very same kind that Robert Patrick played in Terminator 2. Awesome CG graphics that look as good or better than the movie help this play out, and I was pleasently surprised. I can’t wait for next week’s episode!

Seriously? WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK? You barked at your child’s teacher, and are shocked that they called child services on you?! Did you fall out of the stupid-ass tree and hit every branch on the way down? These goddamn furries need to be stopped. It’s just like we said waaay back in one of the early WooJew episodes…furries are corrupting our children. Won’t somone please think of the children?  I hope yours kicks you in the junk and then emancipates himself. No child should have to go through “scheduled furry hour”.

Earlier this week I stumbled on a new band, Charlotte Sometimes. I picked up her CD for 8 bucks, and it’s highly enjoyable. The lead single, “How I Could Just Kill A Man” is very catchy and will likely be stuck in your head for weeks. The rest of the album is in the same vein, with catchy lyrics and upbeat light rock. – As reported earlier, actor and life-long WWE fan Freddie Prinze, Jr. of I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scooby-Doo and She’s All That fame is now a member of the WWE creative team. Vince and Stephanie McMahon are hoping that the addition of Prinze, Jr. to the company will open up more doors to Hollywood. Also, they’re interested in using wife Sarah Michelle Geller for an angle at some point. Prinze, Jr. was introduced to everyone backstage at last night’s show in Washington D.C. He impressed people with how excited he was and willingness to contribute to WWE. Some entertainment news outlets are working on brief pieces about the story.–

So, Prinze and Adamle…working to take down WWE from the inside? We entered WWE Bizzaro World back in 2006…and I don’t think we’ve left yet…

Since joining WWE Adamle has been a bumbling idiot. Now whether or not that is a work or not, I’m not sure. I mean he’s a professional broadcaster. He has been on TV for thirty years and that kind of history shows that he can at least learn the names of the people within the organization. So, if I had to take a guess, Vinnie Mac told him to sound like an idiot. Sometimes it just comes off so cheesy. Take last night’s Raw for example. He called Jillian, Lillian and continually throughout the Mickie James match with Hall continually made blatant mistakes including calling moves wrong and just coming off dry and ridiculous.

The WWE could take this two different ways. They could continut to make him look like an idiot but at the same time make it a new creative direction. Give people like Jamie Noble a title…who would do that, other than Mike Adamle. Put someone like Lance Cade in the title picture…who would do that, other than Mike Adamle. It has a postive possibility but really, who believes that WWE has the forethought for that. That would mean that they would have had to plan this from the very beginning to build Adamle as a complete moron.

The other direction is all the sudden, is to make Adamle all the sudden a wrestling savant. He understands what is going on and what the fans want to see and starts making matches like Cena vs. Batista at Summerslam…for no reason. I mean a Number 1 Contender match is so passe at this point.

You have four men going for the title (Kane, JBL, Batista, Cena) and the champ (CM Punk). As far as I’m concerned you take all five of them and put them in a 25 minute match and the last person to score a pinfall gets the title. The dynamic of all five of them in the ring at the same time allows everyone to play off their strength, instead of their weaknesses. Kane and JBL can carry a match no problem. Batista has the crowd support and so does CM Punk. And Cena needs a good supporting cast to make a good match.

Either way, I guess they succeeded because I am interested in watching at least for another week to find out exactly where they are going to go. Congratulations WWE you’ve swayed me back for at least a week.
